A "PAINT & SIP" PLACE?

Just the other day someone asked me, “Is this one of those SIP AND PAINT places?” Pausing, I questioned myself and thought, well yes we host private parties and you can BYOB. But, that made me realize a few special things about my Seaville Art Barn.

This old, uneven red barn, snuggled out of the way in Upper Township is a hidden gem. It is a place to have a birthday party, girls night out, community event, and of course the place to take one of our many classes or kids camps. However unlike the “paint and sip” places that are everywhere now, we are an authentic art school run by certified, fingerprinted (as a mom I know how important this is) NJ certified art educators. So when you come and have your party here you are getting more than a craft or paint by number experience.

This little old barn can have quite the party. Laughter, kids playing in the front yard, hitting pinatas from the trees, warm reunions, friends toasting new memories, is what you may see when you drive up the gravel road. Many people speak of it’s energy and how they don’t want to leave. It’s a very special place to spend time, get away and work on your art. The studio is available to rent. Spread out your supplies and work away from the laundry, kids, or other life distractions. We have a great yearly art exhibit for all to enter, juried by well renowned artists. If you have ever been to one of our art openings you’ll remember the walking the gallery with a glass of wine, listening to live music, chatting with artists and the warm experiences.

The Seaville Art Barn is different. We take pride in every piece of art sold, made, or shown in it’s near 300 year old English bones.

I hope you will join us to celebrate at one or more of our 3 yearly art exhibits:

2017 Juried Art Exhibit- July 15th, 5-8 pm (awards given)

Student Art Show- August 18th 5-8pm

Every child that took a camp will show one of their favorite works from the summer).

Members Show- September 23, 5-8pm

Our members are fine local artists, you can learn more about them on our Members Page).

Are we a “paint and sip” place? Yes, and an art school, memory maker, supporter of local artists, and a hidden creative gem set back off of Route 9 in Upper Township. Come see what makes us different.
