Robert Joachim

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Bob Joachim came to art late in life. After a career as an ordained, Lutheran minister and 32 years in parole work for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, he started taking classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA).  During the last 20 years, he has developed skills in various mediums including water color, acrylic, oil, oil pastel and egg tempers as well as drawing. He also was a founding member of the Manayunk Art Coop. As a resident of Chestnut Hill, with wife, Barbara and cat Sophie, he exhibits locally and has a studio in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia.
